Hello! I’m Nikki,
Advanced Practice Licensed Esthetician and enthusiastic owner of NIKS SKIN. A one woman show determined to offer our community a fresh and relaxed approach to skincare. In 2017, I finally followed my dream to become a licensed professional in the beauty industry. I attended the Esthetics program at PCI Academy in Plymouth, MN. After graduating I started my career in local day spas. Quickly I knew I wanted to start a solo skin care practice to give clients the personalized experience they deserve. I thrive on the ever-changing beauty and personal care industry and love to share the knowledge that I have learned and practiced over the years. That’s not to say I’m done learning and growing. I have not even begun to scratch or, um… exfoliate, the surface of what is in store. I continue expand my industry knowledge and techniques by attending annual trade shows and certification. My list of specialist training includes Dermaplane Pro, Lira Smart Peel Solutions, Eminence Skincare Hungarian Facial massage, Skin Classic, and Keritan Lash Infusion certification. My most valuable knowledge resources are my guests whom I have the pleasure of welcoming into my treatment room. I love meeting people and having the opportunity in this business to be creative and helpful at the same time. Originally, I’m from Mankato, MN then spent seven years of my childhood in Maui, Hawaii. Maui No ka ‘Oi! You might catch some Aloha spirit at NIKS right here in central MN. I’ve lived in St. Cloud for the past 15 years. My Husband and two teenagers keep me laughing and busy. I love music, performance, arts and crafts of all kinds. I like to get my hands on anything creative.
It all started when I was 11 years old. My grandmother handed me a tweezer, laid her head on my lap, and trusted me to tweeze her eyebrows and whatever hairs poking out of wherever places. I didn’t hesitate and went right to work. As she relaxed and closed her eyes, I felt really important and I knew whatever I was doing made her so relaxed and able to just take a moment. It wasn’t about giving her the best brow design an 11-year-old could do, it was about touch, pampering, feeling special and lovely. That’s just what everyone needs and I’m honored to give that to my clients.
